Six Giroux Pappas Attorneys Selected to 2023 Michigan Super Lawyers and Rising Stars Lists
Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys are proud to introduce the six outstanding attorneys from our practice who have been selected to the 2023 Michigan Super Lawyers and Rising Stars lists. Each year, Super Lawyers, a rating service by Thomson Reuters, identifies lawyers in each state who have attained exceptional peer recognition and professional achievement across over 70 practice areas to be selected for the Rising Stars and Super Lawyers lists.
Bob Giroux (Super Lawyers) has been a litigation attorney for 30 years. He has worked on both sides of the courtroom and has personally been involved in 130+ trials. He attended Oakland University and Detroit College of Law before becoming a practicing attorney in 1993. In his career, Bob has settled cases amounting to over $250 million dollars and has many million-dollar verdicts to his credit. He started Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys in order to help people obtain the best possible outcome for their legal matters. Mr. Giroux has been on the Super Lawyers list consecutively since 2010.
Evan Pappas (Rising Stars), partner at Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys, works as a plaintiff’s attorney, representing individuals or companies who bring lawsuits to enforce their rights of recovery. He is experienced in a wide range of personal injury cases, including medical malpractice, sex abuse and harassment, and auto and trucking cases. He was previously selected to the Rising Stars list from 2016 – 2021.
Brandon Abro (Rising Stars) is a personal injury lawyer who focuses his law practice on Automobile and Truck Accidents, Premises Liability, and other General Negligence matters. He earned his law degree from Western Michigan University Cooley Law School in 2012. He was previously selected to the Rising Stars list in 2022.
Christian Collis (Super Lawyers) is an attorney with over 20 years of experience. He has spent most of his career fighting for plaintiffs in cases involving automobile negligence, trucking accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death. Christian earned his BA from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. This is Christian’s 5th year on the Michigan Super Lawyers list.
E. Jason Blankenship (Super Lawyers) has been an attorney for over 20 years, with a focus on fighting for plaintiffs in automobile negligence, medical malpractice, premises liability, workplace injuries, and general negligence cases. Jason earned his BA from Michigan State University and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School. Jason has been selected to the Super Lawyers list consecutively since 2019 and was selected to the Rising Stars list from 2009 – 2013.
Andrew Laurila (Rising Stars) focuses his practice on personal injury cases, no-fault claims, civil rights litigation, employment and workplace law, automobile and truck accidents, premises liability, general negligence, wrongful death, and construction accidents. He earned his BA from the University of Michigan and his law degree from Western Michigan School of Law Cooley Law School.
