Christian Collis has been an attorney for over 20 years. His legal career crosses multiple areas with the majority of his life spent fighting for plaintiffs in the areas of automobile negligence, trucking accidents, premises liability, and wrongful death.
Christian is a dedicated attorney who cares about his clients. He works hard to cultivate a strong bond with them so that they understand that their physical and mental recovery from an injury or event is an important step for their future well being. Obtaining the compensation they need to recover well and be whole in the future is the ultimate goal.
Prior to associating with Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys, Mr. Collis built a highly regarded reputation in the legal community while working as a personal injury attorney at other law firms including Fieger Law, Moss & Colella, and Secrest, Wardle Lynch. Christian has handled matters in venues across the state and country. He has argued matters in the Michigan Supreme Court, and in the Michigan Court of Appeals. Christian’s vast experience in both the Federal and State courts makes him able to handle any complicated legal issues.
Christian earned his BA from the University of Michigan. He received his law degree from Detroit College of Law at Michigan State University. Christian is the youngest of five siblings. He was born and raised in Dearborn where he attended Divine Child Catholic Elementary and High School. Christian has been married to his wife for 18 years and has two teenage sons.
When not securing compensation for his clients or spending time with his family and four dogs, Christian enjoys playing golf, basketball and other forms of exercise. Little known fact, Christian played rugby for the University of Michigan for 15 years. He was an integral player for the only team in Michigan to win a National Rugby Championship in 1995. His play garnered national attention and was offered a tryout for the USA Eagles Sevens squad in 1994.
