Giroux Pappas was founded in 2015 by Bob Giroux, following a career that spanned early defense litigation and over 16 years of plaintiff-side advocacy at a high-volume firm. He established the firm not as a next step, but as a clear answer to a question he’d been carrying for years: what would a firm look like if it were built around the client? He’d seen how large firms treated injured clients as numbers, not people, and built this firm to be the complete opposite. Fewer cases, direct access, and principled representation from day 1.

The early years weren’t without friction. Bob started with two attorneys and two support staff. Junior partners came and went, each failing to share the values upon which the firm was built. Yet the foundation held, and Bob maintained the standard: direct client relationships, a high level of integrity, meticulous preparation, and a refusal to treat cases like transactions.

While a partner at his previous firm, Bob had hired a young attorney named Evan Pappas. Evan then joined Bob at his new firm, and within a short time, proved to be exactly what Bob was looking for in a partner. He was hardworking, client-focused, and practiced with integrity and dignity. When Bob asked Evan to become an equity partner, Evan accepted, and the firm became Giroux Pappas. A name that not only reflects a legal partnership, but also a shared set of values.

The firm has grown to seven attorneys, added a third partner Chris Collis and has a support team of 18, but the model hasn’t changed in the slightest. Attorneys meet on the first Tuesday of every month to review cases together, talk through problems, and sharpen teamwork. Giroux Pappas remains what it was built to be: a firm that takes fewer cases so it can invest more in each one, where clients can work directly with their attorney, and where every single decision is guided by preparation, integrity, and complete commitment to the people it represents.
