Meet Andrew McCulloch
Andrew established an independent estate planning practice in 2012. Although his practice was thriving, he became an attorney of counsel at Giroux Pappas in 2016 to become part of a firm that puts their clients first and offers quality estate planning services at a reasonable cost.
Andrew first thought of becoming an attorney when an occupation profile he completed at Southfield Christian High School listed ‘lawyer’ as a suggested profession.
Born in Willoughby, Ohio, he moved to the Detroit area shortly after his birth. With his father working as a financial services professional, Andrew became interested in many aspects of finance. Though intent on attending law school after completing his undergraduate degree, Andrew majored in Financial Administration at Michigan State University in the event he followed his father into the financial services industry. Andrew then attended law school at the Detroit College of Law, where he was extremely active as student senator of his class, and worked for the alumni office and clerked for Angelo A. Plakas and Associates.
In 2005 Andrew began working with the estate planning law firm Wakefield, Sutherland & Lubera. His Finance degree proved to be invaluable when assessing clients’ estate planning needs, and assisting clients and advisors with properly titling their assets. Shortly after joining the firm, Andrew became one of the earliest participants to complete the Institute of Continuing Education Probate and Estate Planning Certificate Program.
Andrew lives in Beverly Hills, Michigan with his wife Margaret and son Max. He enjoys golf, skiing and coaching his son’s baseball team.
