Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys Adds Appeals Department
Southfield, Michigan | October 26, 2016
Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys, a law firm specializing in personal injury and trial cases has added an appeals department. An ideal extension of a firm with extensive trial experience, the appeals department will manage all internal appeals and can take the lead on appeals or dis-positive motions from law firms that may wish to allocate their litigating attorney resources elsewhere or may lack the specialized experience.
Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys’s appellate practice is led by Matthew Klakulak who has handled more than sixty appeals to the Michigan Court of Appeals, Michigan Supreme Court, the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and other appellate courts. Issues addressed involved personal injury, governmental immunity, medical malpractice, insurance coverage, vicarious liability, employment law, criminal defense, and many others.
In 2015, partner Bob Giroux founded the firm so he could treat clients with the respect and compassion they deserve and deliver a high level of service and expertise. The firm represents people who have suffered serious personal injury, the wrongful death of a family member, unjust criminal charges, or the violation of civil rights. The partners have handled cases on behalf of plaintiffs as well as defendants and have practiced extensively in both Federal Court and various state Circuit Courts throughout Michigan and beyond.
