In most medical malpractice situations in Michigan, per Michigan law MCL 600.5805 you have two years from the date of the medical error causing injury. Medical malpractice claims must also comply with Michigan’s Notice of Intent and Affidavit of Merit requirements, making it important to have the case reviewed promptly.
