An 84 year-old woman driving a Buick SUV east on 13 Mile Road collided with a Dodge Ram driven by a man in his 50s headed south on M-5. The accident left roads closed for several hours Sunday Morning.

Novi police officials confirmed the crash occurred shortly after 7 a.m. at the intersection of M-5 and 13 Mile Road. Despite efforts to save her, the woman was found unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene. Fortunately, the driver of the Dodge Ram sustained only minor injuries.
