Personal Injury Law
We represent individuals and families across Michigan who have been seriously harmed by negligence, medical error, or misconduct, with the preparation and principled counsel each case demands.
Motor Vehicle Accidents
Auto, trucking and motorcycle collisions are some of the most common causes of serious injury in Michigan. We provide thorough preparation and direct communication for every case.
Medical Malpractice
We represent individuals and families harmed by medical malpractice including surgical errors, misdiagnosis and medical negligence with the precision and preparation these complex cases demand.
Birth Injury
When a newborn or mother is harmed during delivery due to medical negligence, the impact is devastating. We represent families navigating these deeply personal and complex matters.
Wrongful Death
Families facing the profound loss caused by a death in the family naturally have questions. Our wrongful death attorneys can help get to the answers a family deserves.
Sexual Assault
These matters require a level of sensitivity and discretion that not every firm is built to provide. We guide survivors through the legal process with steady, confidential counsel.
Slip and Fall
Business and property owners have a duty to maintain reasonably safe conditions for customers and visitors. Slip and fall and premises liability cases often arise when dangerous conditions are ignored or not properly addressed.

Community Support and Participation Is Important to Us

At Giroux Pappas Trial Attorneys, we believe being personal injury attorneys in Michigan means more than representing clients – it means investing in the communities we serve. We started this program in 2022 to recognize Exceptional Educators in our community who go above and beyond for their students and schools. We invite parents, students, fellow educators and the community to nominate these heroes. Each month we select a deserving educator and provide support to their school. The donation helps create lasting impact in the classroom. This initiative reflects our commitment to compassion, service and doing the right thing – the same values that guide our personal injury attorneys in Michigan to do great work both inside and outside the courtroom.

Exceptional Educators Program

How It Works

Each month a team at Giroux Pappas reviews the submissions and selects an Exceptional Educator to be named that month. We look for an outstanding educator who is creative, dedicated and makes a significant impact in the classroom, at school or even for one child. The winner receives a $1000 donation for their school and recognition on TV and in social media.

“I believe it’s important to recognize teachers in our community and their incredible contribution to our children. Next to parents they often have the most significant impact on our children.”
Robert Giroux, Managing Partner

Frequently Asked Questions About the Exceptional Educators Program

The Exceptional Educators program is a monthly initiative that began in 2022 to support teachers in the classroom with a donation of $1000 to their school.

Anyone contributing positively to a school or educational program in Michigan can be considered for this award.

All nominations are reviewed by a committee once a month. Giroux Pappas looks for a sincere and detailed submission that communicates the contribution that an educator has made to their school, community or even just the impact on one student.

There is no deadline for submissions. Giroux Pappas considers all received nominations.

The $1000 donation is made directly to the organization. It is up to the school and the honoree to determine how funds are used to enhance their programs.

The Exceptional Educator program began in 2022. Donations are given during the months schools are in session.
